Gerry’s Prepared Veg U13 Division 4 Championship Final
Drumhowan 5-13 Rockcorry 0-4
Drumhowan captured the 2nd leg of the U13 Double last Saturday the 14th of September when tthey overcame a gallant Rockcorry side in Aughnamullen. Drumhowan opted to play with the wind in the first half but found it quite hard to get the scores on the board as Rockorry were defending resolutely but two goals near the half time whistle left a bit of breathing space with the half time score Drumhowan 2-7 to 0-2
In the second half despite playing against the wind Drumhowan kicked a further 3-6 to Rockcorry’s 2 points with Jerome Lavelle the hero getting himself 4 goals. With the game getting away from Rockcorry Drumhowan used the opportunity to use their bench with all panel members getting some game time. All in all a very successful season for this team.
