Irish Life Every Step Count Finale
On last Wednesday the 3rd of March  the Irish Life Every Step Counts  came to a conclusion. In the end 91 people (56 females  35 male) took part in varying degrees.
Over the 7 weeks the club covered an amazing total of just under 35,000km  and finished in 7th place of 182 Ulster Clubs. We will now be in a draw with 146 other clubs with a chance of winning   either €2,500,  €1,500 or €1000  worth of O’ Neills Sports Voucher. So once again míle buíochas
In the end 37 people got over the 380km mark set by the club in the beginning so you will all be entered into the €100 sports voucher draw  while 66 people will be in the draw for the €50 voucher. However no matter how much ground  you covered it all counted and the competition was great  even though some might have at stages ached a little.

Then on Friday  there was a zoom call with any of the participants available to draw the two sports vouchers  from  Mc Dermott’s Sports Centre. The €100 was won by Maria Duffy, Drumguilla and the€50 was captured by Christopher Mc Ginnity Drumskelt. Well done to the both .On the night  a short video that was shown congratulating all participants on the distances travelled. In it were Aimee Mackin – LGFA Senior Intercounty Player of the Year, Colin Reegan, the GAA Health and Community manager who coordinates the Healthy Club Project and Larry Mc Carthy, the new GAA president.
