Eurotech JFL Drumhowan 1-21 Killeevan 0-18
Drumhowan came out in front of a high scoring encounter on Friday last the 24th of May in Aghabog. It was a game where the forwards were in the ascendancy. Drumhowan were quick off the mark and by the end of the 1st quarter were 0-7 to 0-3 ahead. Things got even even better in the 2nd quarter with a goal from centre half back JP O’ Neill and with Kevin Mooney scoring from all angles Drumhowan led by 1-11 to 0-8 at half time.
Drumhowan started the 2nd half brightly with points from Daragh Mc Elearney and Kevin Mooney to stretch the lead to eight. Killeevan then hit a purple patch scoring 6 unanswered point to leave only 2 in it but Kevin Mooney to the fore again put a goal in it and from then until 5 minutes from the end points were exchanged on both sides but Drumhowan finished strongly with Daragh Mc Elearney scoring from a free with the last kick of the game.
