Drumhowan 2-15 Killeevan 1-8 30/8/19
Drumhowan secured an important 5 point at Páirc Mhic Eoin on Friday last the 30th of August when they overcame Killeevan when they found their shooting boots in the last quarter of the game.
The first half proved to be quite a cagey affair with Colm Lambe keeping Drumhowan ahead with frees and at half time the score read Drumhowan 0-8 Killeevan 0-4
Killeevan started the second half strongly and got back into the game when in the eight minute they scored the game’s opening goal to go a point ahead 1-7 to 0-9. However that was as good as it got for the west Monaghan side as Drumhowan kicked 2-6 to Killeevan’s 0-1 before the final whistle sounded. This result left Drumhowan in second place in the league before their championship meeting with Scotstown
