Drumhowan survived a tight game in Pairc Mhic Eoin last Friday night the 8th of June when they just about did enough to beat Scotstown. They started the game brightly scoring the opening 3 points in the first three minutes with the scores coming from Kieran Mooney and Ciaran Duffy. They didn’t get another point for the next 20 minutes with Scotstown scoring an unanswered 1-4. Drumhowan however finished the half brightly with 2 points coming from the boots of Kieran Mooney and Mark Mc Cabe to leave the half time score Drumhowan 0-5 Scotstown 1-4.
Drumhowan opened the 2nd half in whirlwind fashion kicking 7 points without reply coming from Mark Mc Cabe x2 Ciaran Duffy, Kieran Mooney and Kevin Mooney x 3. After a scoreless 8 minutes Scotstown kicked 2 points with Mark Mc Cabe replying with 2 points entering the closing stages. Scotstown stages a mini revival scoring 1-1 to leave only 2 points in it going into the final minute. However top scorer Mark Mc Cabe kicked his 6th point of the night to leave 3 points in it at the final whistle. The game finished Drumhowan 0-16 Scotstown 2-7
