Drumhowan Are All Ireland Champions
  Drumhowan after 66 years won an All Ireland in Football by Capturing the Div 7 Cup at Féile on Sunday 30th June 2019.There were 13 Boys Divisions  and 10 Ladies with Cup and Shield Finals so 46 finals in all. Most Divisions had 16 teams 4 groups of 4
It was our 1st time qualifying for Feile  in our history as Result of winning U13 Division 2 Championship last year.  We had players born in 4 different years to make up the panel.
In our catchment area of parish of Tullycorbet  the Ballybay Club is in the centre.  Our players come from the northern end Tullycorbet and the southern end  Drumhowan.  With both areas  only probably 400 -500  population max. In the areas no schools, post office, shops, pubs   There are 2 churches  2 community centres  and 1 football field.

Drumhowan 4 – 8 Northern Gaels (Galway ) 3-3  These were our hosts. All the boys stayed in the homes of boys from this club  which is based in Glenamaddy Galway a juvenile amalgamation of 3 rural clubs.
