Drumhowan recorded a high scoring victory last Saturday evening the 18th of September in Páirc Mhic Eoin when they overcame the visitors by 11 points. The 1st quarter remained quite tight with only a point in it after 15 minutes. However Drumhowan pulled away in the 2nd quarter with Michael Atkinson scoring a goal just before the half time whistle to leave the half time score Drumhowan 1-10 KIlleevan 0-6. In the first quarter of the second half both teams exchanged points with Noel Smith the chief score maker for the visitors kicking numerous frees. So with only 15 minutes left there was still 7 in it – Drumhowan 1-14 Killeevan 0-10. However Drumhowan upped their performance to outscore the west Monaghan club 1-4 to 0-3 the goal coming from Mark Mc Cabe.
