Gerry’s  Prepared Veg U14 Div 2 Shield Semi Final   Truagh 5-17  Drumhowan 3-7  We went under to a stronger more determined Truagh side on Saturday last. After a poor first half performance against a strong wind we uppped it in the second half but despite reducing the gap to 7 points at one stage we never looked like winning it. This has been a hard season for the team in Division 2 as we struggled to compete with the faster, tougher brand of football in this division. All we can do now is lick our wounds and come back next season working harder and doing some individual work over the Winter months in order to be ready, bigger and stronger for the challenges that are ahead. A big thanks goes out to the management team of Anthony Brennan, Sean Smith and Barry Tomany. These 3 men have put a massive effort into this squad of players over the past number of seasons. Thanks also the all parents who facilitate and encourage our children to play Gaelic Games.
U10 Pearse Og Tournament – We travelled to Armagh on Saturday morning last to take part in this tournament. In our first game we defeated Granemore before going under to Derrynoose by 2 points in the next game. We then played both Madden and Armagh Harps with both games ending in a draw and both sides scoring last minute points against us to level the two games. This put us out of the competition at the expense of Armagh Harps. Overall this was an excellent experience for the team to be playing different clubs and it was a very well run competition by the Pearse Og club.
