Under 8 Blitz  – We fielded a very young team in the Go Games Blitz in Toome last Saturday morning. With a lot of our older more experienced players on holidays it was left to the young guns to carry the can. They put in 3 top class performances against two Doohamlet sides and Seans. Well done to all and remember to keep practising  every day. The panel on the day was   Finnian Mc Bennett, Oisin Mc Elroy, Katie Mc Adam, Cian Mc Adam, Darragh Mc Adam, Evan Treanor, Caolan Treanor, Dillion Duffy and Aoife Mc Quillan. The next blitz for this group is in Aughnamullen on Thursday 17th July at 7pm and this is a double blitz with the under 10 side also in action on the night.

Training continues on Monday evenings for all players from 7-8pm.  With this being the holiday time of year some of the coaches will be away over the coming weeks. We would ask that some parents might volunteer to stay on at training just to help out with things like toilet breaks or to help look after a child after an accident or a fall. Please come foward to any of the coaches on Monday nights. Many hands make light work.

Get well soon to Under 12/14 coach Anthony Brennan who is recovering after a recent operation. We hope to see him back patrolling the sidelines soon again.

Kellogs Cul Camps – This takes place in Ballybay from July 14th to 18th and is for both boys and girls aged 5 to 12 yrs old. You can book online or send your application to Cloghan. See Monaghan website for details.
