Drumhowan Club Notes 8/1/13
Ulster Scór na nÓg Final- This will take place in St. Cecilia’s College Derry this Saturday at 5pm. Why not make a night of it and then head to Ballybofey on Sunday to see Monaghan take over Donegal in their first home game since the All-Ireland Final last September.
Drumhowan Jumpers- This is the last chance for anyone who is interested in purchasing one of the new Drumhowan hoodies, please contact Megan Finnegan on 0862247119 before next Friday, 18th January to put in an order.
Co Awards Night – takes place on Saturday 19th January in the Hillgrove. Once again this year the club are getting an award. This time it is Colm Lambe who receives his Junior Player of the Year Award. It would be great if a few club members came along to support him. Tickets can be ordered from Club Secretary. Please do this before this Sunday. Michael Duignan from Offaly is this year’s special guest.
Dinner Dance- Make sure to keep free 9th February as this will be the date for Drumhowan’s dinner dance. More information to follow in coming weeks.
Juvenile Registration and Presentation Night- will take place on Friday Jan 25th in the Centre. Medals will be presented to winning under 12 and 14 squads from last year. More details in coming weeks.
Congratulations– to juvenile coach Sean and Breege Smyth on birth of baby girl. Another addition for the Monday evening trainings!
Sympathy- The club wishes to extend their sympathy to the family of the late Patsy Mc Dermott, Dunraymond who passed away over the Christmas season. Ar Dheis Dé go Raibh a Anam Dílis.
