Seniors – We play away to Donaghmoyne on Saturday afternoon at 4.30pm in our penultimate league game of the season.

Minors – Div 2 League semi final result  Donaghmoyne 3-18  St Pats 4-4  – We bowed out of the Minor league semi final going down to a stronger in all departments Fontoney side on Sunday last. St Pats set up defensively and went in at half time two points up courtesy of three goals. However in the second half it was one way traffic as Donaghmoyne took control to run out easy winners in the end. Well done to the panel and management for getting this far as numbers available were small excluding the u 16 players. Thanks to the management team of Dermott Mc Dermott, Niall Mc Adam and Cathal Hand

plus John Rutledge earlier in seasonfor their hard work with the boys.

Crossmaglen Games – On Sunday morning last we headed of to Crossmaglen with 31 players to take on the locals. Our under 11 side had a brilliant game over three periods of 20 minutes that was played with high quality and intensity throughout. Drumhowan set the early pace but Cross came back into it at the end of the second period. Drumhowan with the smaller panel ti

d a bit in the final period but hung in for a well deserved share of the spoils at the finish. The Under 8 game was also a highly competitive affair and it ended level on a scoreline of Drumhowan 11-10 Crossmaglen 11-10. Our boys more than matched the Rangers in this game and this group have had an excellent season and performed very well in all blitzes and games. We also had an under 6/7 game where we had a few more players making their competitive debuts for Drumhowan. The players all really enjoyed this match as did the supporting parents. So all in all a great mornings football and thanks to our hosts for the games. They promised they will be down to Mc Keown Park next season for a rematch. Photos of the day taken by Barry Tomany can be seen on the Drumhowan Facebook page.
