Under 15 blitz takes place Thursday next night October 16th also in Cloghan.

Under 13 – We have been invited to Latton on this Sunday 12th October
to play in a tournament. Time and details will be sent by text later
in the week.

Under 6 & 8 – Both these teams travelled to Cootehill on Saturday last
for an end of season tournament. Other teams involved were the hosts
Cootehill, Drung and Knockbride. Played in glorious sunshine it was a
brilliant morning’s football. We had 7 players making their debut at
under 6 level and they all enjoyed wearing the blue and gold and
played well in their 3 matches. Our under 8 side also performed very
well and especially had a ding dong battle in their first game with
Cootehill. Afterwards all players and supporters were treated to
refreshments. Every player then received a medal for taking part on
the day. We had a lot of proud players on the bus heading home with
their medals. A big thanks to the Cootehill club for the invite and
hospitality shown to all teams. Also congratulations to them on their
Intermediate Championship win later on that evening. That now
concludes the action on the pitch for 2014. Thanks to all players,
parents and mentors for all their efforts all season.

Congratulations – In all the celebrations last week we forgot to congratulate Macartan Lambe(Jun) on his marriage to Caitríona Mc Cabe, Corduff. We wish both of them many years of happiness.
