Ireland Lights Up with the GAA– as part of RTEs Operation Transformation the Club will for the first time take part in Ireland Lights Up with the GAA. This will mean that the floodlights on the pitches will be turned on from Thursday 9th January till the end of February on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8.30pm. National Club Draw – Ticket Books will be distributed out for sale for this draw in the coming week. Tickets cost €10 each and all proceeds goes back to the club. The prizes includes a car, holidays and other great prizes.
Coaching Course- There will be a foundation coaching course on the 17th/18th January. Please contact coaching officer Cormac Duffy to book your place. We would appreciate if members could avail of this course as we had a very successful year for juveniles and are hopeful for the season ahead.
Sympathy– The club wishes to express their sympathy to the Caulfield family, Fincarn on the sudden passing of Patrick Caulfield before Christmas. Sympathies are also extended to the McShane family on the passing of Bríd Daly, née McShane, Annahale, who passed away in December. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a-nAnamachta dhílis.
