Monaghan Electrical IFL – Last Saturday night the 2nd of May local neighbours Aughnamullen were the visitors to Páirc Mhic Eoin.  Drumhowan made a good start to the game and at half time were ahead by 1 – 6 to 0-2 with the goal being scored by David Millar. Aughnamullen also had a  goal disallowed due to a square ball infringement. However Aughnamullen had the help of a strong wind in the driving rain going into the 2nd half. That put Drumhowan into a 12 point lead  but  we remained scoreless for the last 20 minutes while Aughnamullen piled on the pressure but they could only score another 1- 3 and so the final score finished Drumhowan 3-7 Aughnamullen 1 – 7 Team and scorers  Enda Duffy 0-2(2f) Paddy Mulligan, Dermot Mooney, Barry Mc Guirk, Darren Duffy 0-2 Liam Mc Guirk, Niall Mooney(c), JP O Neill, Ciaran Duffy, Kevin Mooney, Aidan Duffy 1-1, Colm Lambe 0-2 (2f), Aiden Quinn, David Millar 1-0, Kieran Mooney Subs Owen Quinn 1-0 for Aiden Quinn(5mins), Michael Atkinson for Owen Quinn (45mins) Ronan Duffy for Colm Lambe (49 mins) Micheal Mooney for Aidan Duffy (52mins)
