Upcoming fixtures and results:
Seniors – Next game for this squad is Round 6 of the league this Friday, 7 June, away to Scotstown with an 8pm throw in.
Reserves – The reserves were busy over the past week. Last Saturday, 1 June, they narrowly lost away to Eire Óg on a 1-20 to 4-9 scoreline. Then on Tuesday night, 4 June, Cremartin came to Páirc Mhic Eoin and won 4 -7 to 1-12. Next game is in 2 weeks against Emyvale.
U14s -The U14s were away to Killanny in the cup section of the league last Thursday, 30 May, and despite scoring 4-10 they lost as Killanny managed to get 9-19. This Thursday, 6 June (tonight), it’s the parish derby with Ballybay the visitors to Páirc Mhic Eoin with a 7.30pm throw in.
U12s – The U12s commenced their Division 3 League campaign last Saturday, 1 June, when Oram were the victors with a full time score Drumhowan 1-14 Oram 3-17. Next game is Saturday, 15 June, away to Tyholland.
U10s – Drumhowan U10 players participated in a blitz in Aughnamullen on Bank Holiday Monday the 3rd of June and despite having very few players, they emerged victorious in the shield competition by defeating Corduff in the final. Congratulations to Tadgh Mulligan for lifting the shield and to Tom Mooney for being named player of the match.

Drumhowan Cubs’ and Academy –
Thank you to everyone who helped make last week’s water fight such a success. Special thanks to Aiden Quinn for providing all the essentials and to Nicola McElroy for the fruit. Huge thanks to all coaches and see everyone once again this Saturday at 9.30am
Senior Team Fundraiser Our Senior team have organised a fundraiser to help with costs. They have raffle cards and the entry is €10 or 3 for €20. They have some super prizes including a Two night stay in Arklow Bay Hotel plus 1 evening meal , Mace €300 and €200 vouchers, Signed Monaghan jersey and many other local vouchers – see social media for full list. Congratulations to Paddy Treanor, Darragh Quinn and Senan Lambe who represented the club at the U12 Croke Park activity day last Monday, 3 June.
Speedy Recovery – to Ciaran Duffy who underwent an operation last week after an injury he received playing against Clones. Hopefully we will see him back in action later in the summer.
