Local girls Laura McPhillips (Latton) and Ciara Quinn (Drumhowan) have been accepted for a once in a lifetime trip to Fiji to volunteer and travel for two weeks in July with VESA. They will be working to improve school facilities, build new resources and help those in need. To raise funds, the girls will climb Croagh Patrick this March. Sponsorship cards to support in fundraising can be found in many businesses around Ballybay, and donations can also be made online to the GoFundMe page titled “2500 Feet for Fiji”. Any donation, small or large, would be greatly appreciated!”
