Training- Players are asked to be in the changing rooms at 8pm this Friday, 3rd February for a training session at 8.15.

Scór na nÓg- The appeal with the National Council which was meant to take place on Monday night last was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully a meeting will be rescheduled soon.

Workshop- Re-scheduled Coaching Workshop “Bring Back Kicking” in Scotstown Kilmore GAA Training Grounds will be on Wed 15th Feb @ 7:30pm. Tutor Terrance McWilliams, targeting all Coaches. Free of Charge.

New Mentors- The Youth and Coaching subcommittee have been making plans for the season ahead over the past few weeks. They have the following mentors in place for 2012. However as always we are looking for more help and would be delighted to see more parents becoming involved even if it’s only to help out at an odd training session. Anyone interested please feel free to come along.

Nursery/ U4s-6s: Pauline Grogan , Lorraine Duffy , Breege Brennan.

Under 8/10: Barry Tomany , Noel Duffy , Dermott Mc Dermott , Gavin Sheridan , John Lavelle , Aiden Doherty, Darren Duffy , Donal Mc Adam. Training for Under 8/10 will commence indoors in mid-February on Monday evenings – More details later.

Under 12: Anthony Brennan, Sean Smyth, Padraig Duffy.

Under 14: Padraig Duffy, Paul Mc Guirk, Francis Mc Mahon, Anthony Brennan. Training for the Under 12/14 teams will be commencing shortly as leagues start in Mid-March

Coaching Course- Foundation Coaching Course is on Feb 17/18th.

Presentation- There will be a juvenile presentation night at end of February to present Medals to our U-12, u-14 and U-16 Teams – More details next week.

Jersey Sponsorship- The club has to get a new set of jerseys for some of the underage teams. If anyone is interested in sponsoring a set or donating towards the cost then contact any committee member.

Sympathy- The club wish to extend their sympathies to Peter and Mary Duffy in the death of Mary’s brother Gene Traenor, Scotstown. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a ainm dilis.
