Seniors: Our seniors had a good win in their first Championship game V Rockcorry on Sunday last. Final score 2-14 to 1-10. It was great to see plenty of support for the team at the game. Next game is away to Clones this Saturday 4th Sept at 6pm. Please show your support to the players and management again this week.
U7s: The U7s will take part in their final blitz this Saturday 4th Sept at 10am in Tyholland.
U9s: Well done to our U9s who played a blitz on Saturday last in Drumhowan. Training continues this Saturday morning.
U13s: The U13s play in their final V Killeevan this Saturday 4th Sept in Ballybay at 1pm. Please come out to support the players and management. This will be a challenge as they boys already suffered a defeat to Killeevan so plenty of support will be appreciated. Best of luck to all players and their management team.
U17s: St Pats U17s final V Cremartin is provisionally scheduled for Suday 12th Sept. More details to follow next week.
Stewards Needed: As we are hosting two U13 finals in McKeown Park on Sunday at 1pm and 3pm, all help would be greatly appreciated. Please be there for 12.15pm. For those not attending the Drumhowan Championship game in Clones, some help will be needed as we host the Senior game between Blayney and Latton at 6pm this Saturday 4th Sept.
Congratulations: The club wishes to congratulate our former Secretary Paul McGuirk and his new wife Emma on their recent marriage. Also, congratulations to Liam and Hayley McGuirk on the birth of their son Bobby. Hopefully another full back for Drumhowan in the not too distant future!
Covid 19 Notice: We ask everyone to redouble their efforts regarding Covid 19 Regulations. Please follow all guidelines- use hand sanitiser upon entry to and exit from the grounds, observe social distancing etc. Please ensure all players submit their health questionnaires before all training sessions and matches.
Grants: We are delighted to receive 2 grants- the Sports Capital Grant which helped fund our new Gym equipment and the Clár grant which will fund our new car park/ multi-purpose area- work will start in the Autumn. Many thanks to the Development Committee for all their hard work in securing these grants.
Good Luck: Best of luck to all our students who are returning to school this week- especially those beginning Primary School/ Secondary School/ College. We wish them all the best in their studies in the year ahead.
