Guinness World Record Attempt– Drumhowan along with other clubs and organisations are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest 3 legged race on this Saturday May 4th at 11.am. We need as many people as possible to take part on the day. All we have to do is get juvenile players, parents, their friends, senior players, club members and indeed anyone within the community that wants to take part to turn up at 11am at the pitch on Saturday morning, have some fun at the end of the day you will be part of a World Record. It will be a Guinness Book of Records event and when successful there will be a Certificate for every participant confirming that they have broken a World Record. So please get along to the pitch on Saturday at 11am and take a partner and an old tie or scarf with you.
Croke Park Trip – On Saturday last almost 50 juveniles and helpers went to Croke Park to see Monaghan win the Division 3 title against Meath. The group had a great evening and enjoyed the game and for some it was their first visit to Croke Park. Thanks to all who organised the trip and to the helpers who came on the night. Well done to the Monaghan team and management on their win and to our own Francis Mc Ginnity who is the team kit man.
Congratulations– to all the children who made their Confirmation and Communion last weekend and good luck to the ones that make it in the coming weeks.
