Universal Graphics JFC – Last Saturday evening 26th July we took on Oram in Blackhill in the JFC backdoor. A tough clash took place before the small crowd present. At half time against a strong breeze Drumhowan led by a point with the half time score Drumhowan 0 – 6 Oram 0 – 5 with 3 points from David Millar, 2 from Kevin Mooney and the other coming from Kevin Mooney. Despite playing with the wind in the second half Drumhowan fell 09 to 06 behind 10 mins in. They gradually crawled back with points from Kieran Mooney. Aidan Duffy and Kieran once again. However Pauric Graham put Oram ahead again until in the 27min when David Millar levelled it. Then in 29th minute Colm Lambe got the winning score and while there was 4 minutes injury time played no other scores ensued so the full time score was Drumhowan 0 – 11 Oram 0 -10. They now play Killanny which is provisionally fixed for Friday 8th August In Inniskeen at 8pm. Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 – Last Thursday 24th of July the U16s took on table toppers Magheracloone in Killanny. After a tight game Magheracloone came out victorious on a full time score Magheracloone 3 – 12 St. Patrick’s 3 – 8 . Tonight Thursday 31st July they play Scotstown in Drunhowan at 7.30pm.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 -Last Saturday the 26th July Cremartin had a good win at home over Drumhowan. The Full time score was Drumhowan 4 — 6 Cremartin 10 – 11 They play Clontibret in the final league game on Saturday 16th August.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Div 2A – The final game in the competition before the knockout stage was on last Tuesday 29th July when they took on Seán Mc Dermotts in Drumhowan. Please check twitter for a result.
