Sympathy is extended to all the Finnegan family on the tragic death of Lilly. Her family’s influence can certainly be felt in the club. A son Gerry, chairman, a granddaughter Megan PRO, grandsons Patrick and Damien up to recently and perhaps in the future members of the senior panel and finally great grandson Tristan who is just starting out on his Drumhowan career at the U8s. Her popularity could be seen with the huge crowds who were at Doohamlet where she was laid to rest on Sunday. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

U-16 St Pats 3-21 Seans 3-5. The under 16 side had a high scoring win in Threemilehouse last week. Although the margin of victory was comfortable at the end it was only in the last ten minutes that we pulled away. This competition now goes on hold until after the exams.

U-14  This side have a busy week playing Scotstown at home on this Thursday night at 7.15pm in the league. They then play either Scotstown or O Hanlons next Tuesday June 5th at home in the championship.

U -12 Drumhowan have been placed in Division 3 of this league in a group with clubs like Clontibret, Latton, Ballybay, Killanny and Eire Og .It’s great to see the progress we have been making at underage level and that we have now earned the right to compete in this division. Best wishes to the team and management in this competition and we would appeal to our supporters to come out in numbers to support the team. Their first game was against Eire Og on Monday night last which resulted in a good win. After the 1st third the game was pretty tight but the team pulled away a little in the 2nd third. Final Score was Drumhowan 3 – 12 Eire Og 1 – 5
