Platinum Tanks RFL League Division 2 Round 2 Last Saturday the 26th of March Drumhowan reserves made the journey to Tyholland where they took on the locals. It was a definitely a case of two halves as Drumhowan led by 7 points at half time with the score at 3-3 to 1-2 despite playing against a strong wind. Ciaran Deery scored two goals for the second week in a row with Club secretary Paul Mc Guirk securing the third. The points were scored by Dermot Mooney and the midfield pairing of JP O Neill and Dean Mooney with Dean’s score a noteworthy one 40 metres out from the outside of the boot.

The home side came into the game a lot more in the 2nd half exerting a whole lot of pressure and restricted Drumhowan to two pointed frees by Mark Mc Cabe. However that was just about enough as Drumhowan just managed to hold out to win on a full time scoreline Drumhowan 3-5 Tyholland 1-10
