Juveniles- Coaching Course will continue next Wednesday in Cremartin for U5, U7, U9, U11 coaches. All new help with coaching is welcome even on a part time basis. Training for U13-15 Ages will soon be commencing so time to get the boots polished and ready for action. Also time for our players to get out themselves and get moving before collective training starts. Presentation night will take place sometime in February to present medals to our U13 Division 2 double winners and St Pats U17 league winners.
Membership fees- Membership and insurance fees will be due before the season commences. These fees can be paid either in one instalment or monthly.
Sympathy– The club wishes to extend their sympathy to the family of the late Paddy Johnston, Muldrummond. Paddy played with Drumhowan in the early 60s before playing with Blackhill. Also to Matthew and Sharon Lambe and extended family on the death of Sharon’s father Pat Finnegan, Carrickmacross. Sympathies are also extended to the McQuillan and Boylan families, Drumhowan on the death of Francie McQuillan.
Meeting– the next meeting of the club executive will take place this Thursday 31st January at 8.30pm
Ulster Scór na nÓg -Well done to our Set Dancing Team of Sinead Duffy, Rachel Brennan, Rebecca Brennan, Aoife Lennon, Catherine Walsh, Ursula Markey, Sean Walsh and Niall Grogan who took part in the Ulster Final in Silverbridge on 12th January. Unfortunately they didn’t win the final but they did the club proud.
Tráth na gCeist- Tráth na gCeist Boird for both Scór Sinsir & Scór na nÓg will be held on 1stFebruary in The Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan 8.30pm sharp.
Congratulations– Congratulations to Catherine & Colm Mulligan on the birth of their baby girl Ella. Also to Melinda & Paul Hickey on the birth of Therese. 2019 may be the year of the girls!
