St Pats – Both the minor and under 16 teams have no games until after the exams – Minors train every Friday from 7 – 8 pm in Drumhowan. All need to attend with the small numbers.

Under 14 – Drumhowan played Tyholland in the championship on Tuesday night gone past. They also play Rockcorry at home on  this Sat June1st in the league at noon. Please come out and support the boys
Under 12 Div 1B  Result Drumhowan 9-13 Ballybay 1-5  Drumhowan opened their campaign with a comprehensive victory over Ballybay on Monday night last. A strong opening half laid the foundations for an excellent team performance.

Under 10 – We have a challenge game lined up for this evening Thursday against Castleblayney in Drumhowan. All players to be at pitch for 6.45pm. We will have 2 games running at once so full turnout of players needed.

Under 8 – We hosted a Go Games Blitz in Drumhowan on Saturday morning last in glorious sunshine before a large crowd. Drumhowan, Castleblayney and Oram fielded 2 teams each while Inniskeen and Rockcorry both had one team. There was great excitment, lots of skill and and great enjoyment had by all over the 2 hours. Thanks to all the clubs on the day for their co-operation and to all who helped to run the event on the day including the four young whistlers who kept control on proceedings. Drumhowan’s two teams performed vey well and are improving with each outing – Panel on the day was  Ciaran Keenan, Johnathan Lavelle, Killian Mc Adam, Tristan Duffy, Jason Clarke, Donnacha Mc Mahon, Jack Treanor, Tom Doherty,Tiernan Reilly, Mary Quinn, Martin Quinn, Matthew Mc Dermott, Finnian Mc Bennett, Katie Mc Adam, Paul Finnegan.

 

Bank Holiday Monday – The training for all teams aged 5-14 is off this Monday. The coaches and players will take a well earned break this week and resume the following Monday.

 

Blackhill Sports – This takes place on Monday next from 2pm -6pm. Always a good family fun day out so please attend if you can. At 4pm our Under 12 team play Aughnamullen for the Connolly Memorial Cup. All players in Blackhill for 3.30pm

 

Stewards – Thanks to all the helpers and stewards who turned up in great numbers for the Junior Championship game on Friday night last. A great start to year. Lets keep it up

 

Kelloggs Cul Camps
Takes place in Ballybay July 22nd – 26th , Cost of Camps 1st child 55euro, 2nd child 45euro, 3rd child 40euro each, & 35euro if a child wants to attend another camp (without gear). U14/16 Club Coaching Programme;
These 3 practical sessions will be delivered in 3 regions throughout the county. We are based in Ballybay on Thursday 30Th May, June 6th and June 13th from 7-30 to 9pm. Coaches of these teams should attend.

U6/8 Coaches workshop on Wed 19th June @ 7:30pm in Cloghan to be delivered by Aoife Byrne (from Killanny) who has worked for Liverpool FC as a Community and Schools Coach.

U10/12 Coaches workshop on Wed 26th June @ 7:30pm in Cloghan to be delivered by Monaghan Coaching Staff.–
