Club Notes 28/7/20

Universal Graphics JFC- Our senior team were beaten by Toome in their first Championship match on Sunday last. Full match report is available on our website drumhowan.gaa.ie. Toome had edged ahead at half time score of 6 points to 5 and emerged winners with a final score of 10 points to 7. Teams and scorers were as follows- Enda Duffy 0-1 (1’45’), Darren Duffy, Owen Quinn, Barry Mc Guirk, Daragh Mc Elearney 0-1 (1f), Liam Mc Guirk, Niall Duffy, John Paul O’ Neill, Patrick Quinn, Patrick Markey, Kevin Mooney 0-2, Aodhán Brennan, Kieran Mooney, Ciaran Duffy, Aiden Quinn 0-3 (3f) Subs used: All 2nd Half Anthony Mulligan for Patrick Markey, Patrick Mulligan for Ciarán Duffy, Joseph Duffy for Aiden Quinn, Michéal Duffy for Kieran Mooney.

JFC Round 2 Tickets- Drumhowan face Scotstown at home this Friday 31st at 8pm. Again, this is a ticket only match. Please contact Megan on 0862247119 for tickets. Tickets are €10 and can be paid for and collected at the pitch at 7pm before Friday’s game.

Get Well Soon- We wish Toome’s James Wilson a speedy recovery after he suffered an ankle injury during Sunday’s Championship game.

Maguire International Ltd U17  Division 2 MFC – The U17s suffered a defeat to Latton on Tuesday last with a final score of 3-9 to 9 points. They face Scotstown on Tuesday 28th at 7.30pm in Kilmore. Please note this game will not be taking place in Scotstown pitch. They then face Clontibret next Tuesday 4th August in Ballybay at 7.30pm.

Manor Farm U15 Division 2 Championship– Well done to our U15 team on a good win against Magheracloone on Thursday last. Final score 9-13 to 4-3. They face Clontibret on Thursday 30th in Drumhowan at 7.30pm. Please come out to support the team and management.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U13 Division 3 Championship– The u13s had a good win against Killanny on Saturday last with a final score of 6-17 to 3-9. They face Inniskeen this Saturday 1st August in Drumhowan at 12. Please come out to support the boys.

Get Well Wishes- We send get well wishes to Davis Millar who is recovering from a recent operation. We hope it won’t be too long until David is back out on the field. We wish him a very speedy recovery.

Congratulations– Congratulations to Paddy Mulligan and Aine Duffy on the birth of their baby daughter Saorlaith last week. We look forward to welcoming Saorlaith at our games in the near future.

Stewards Needed– We will need stewards and help this Friday night as we host our senior’s game against Scostown. Please be at the pitch from 6.30pm.
