U13s- U13 Championship Quarter Final Drumhowan 1-11 Castleblayney 1-5. What a battle in the heat in resplendent mc Keown Park on Sunday morning. Every ball and possession was fought tooth and nail like lives depending on it in a physical contest. With 5 minutes to go it looked like the bigger stronger Blayney side would win out as they led by a point. However, the Drumhowan boys stepped up and rattled off 1-4 in the closing minutes to emerge winners. Well done boys and hard luck to a gallant Blayney side. Our semi-final will take place Saturday 7th September. Opposition is not yet known.

Bon Voyage- to Gabriel Duffy who heads back to the Big Apple this week. He has been training with the boys for the past month and we hope he enjoyed his time. Hopefully we will see him back in Drumhowan colours in the near future
