Platinum Tanks RFL Div 1B –  Our Reserve Game originally scheduled for Wednesday 18th June was postponed due to death of Genevieve Hickey (nee Flanagan) However it took place last Saturday 21st June inn Shamrock Park. Due to a variety of reasons we fielded a depleted team with only 15 togging out. The result showed this and Cremartin ran out convincing winners with the Full Time score Cremartin 5 – 19 Drumhowan 0 – 9 The game scheduled for Tuesday 24th June against near neighbours Ballybay was called off with the points being awarded to Ballybay.
 
Mc Elvaneys Recycling MFL Div 1 –  Next game will be on Tuesday 8th July when St. Patrick’s will take on the Harps away from home.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 The U16s game  against  Corduff scheduled for tonight  Thursday 26th June in Drumhowan has been postponed. The next game will be on Thursday 3rd July when St. Patrick’s will take on Donaghmoyne in Drumhowan at 7.30

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 -Last Thursday 19th June this team secured their first points of their campaign when they overcame their near neighbours Doohamlet in Páirc Mhic Eoin with the full time score Drumhowan 4 -16 Doohamlet 2 – 9. The next game will also be a home one on Saturday 12th  of July when Corduff will be the visitors.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Div 2A – Last Saturday 21st July our U12s played out an exciting draw in Shamrock Park with the full time score Drumhowan 3 -8 Cremartin 1 – 14. The next game will take place on Saturday 5th July when Toome will be visitors to Páirc Mhic Eoin.
Go Games Blitz – Both our Under 8 & 10 sides are out in Cemartin tonight Thursday 26th June. All players should be in Cremartin for 6.45pm and the blitz should be over by 8.50pm.
Under 8 – We fielded two teams in the Go Games Blitz in Cloghan on Saturday morning last. Both sides had games against Carrick, Donaghmoyne, Emyvale, Cremartin and Eire Og. Well done to all the players on their excellent displays on a fine sunny morning for football. Remember to keep practicing the skills all over the summer.
Kelllogs Cul Camps – This takes place in Ballybay from July 14th to 18th and is for both boys and girls aged 5 to 12 yrs old. You can book online or send your application to Cloghan. See Monaghan website for details.

Lenovo Skills Hub

In the first week in July (1st -4th) the Lenovo GAA Skills hub Summer Camp will take place in Cloghan.
The camp is open to both boys and girls aged between 13 and 15, with all the coaches leading inter-county players with Monaghan.
The camp will be a great chance for participants to learn from the best players in Monaghan with Owen Lennon (Monaghan Captain 2013)  being the head coach on the camp. He will be joined by members of both the Senior Mens and Ladies teams, where all the coaching will be done through games, skills sessions and blitzes. You will also get the chance to learn sporting life skills, tips and an insights into the dedication and commitment needed to reach the top of the Gaelic Football ladder.
The cost of the camp is €50 with all participants receiving  a free training top and one lucky participant will win a Lenovo Ideapad.

Mid Summers Night Saturday 21st June –  Last Saturday night in the Community Centre the Community Group held their Annual Mid Summers event. Due to D Cube the previous week it was a quiet affair  but lots of important things happened. The Roof Sponsors Plaque was unveiled, another photo exhibition took place, a video of the mud making was shown and for those who had the energy the night finished with dancing to Pat Mc Entee.
 
USFC v Armagh  –  Tickets will be available for collection  either tonight Thursday 26th or tomorrow Friday 27th June.  Best of luck to both the Minor and Senior Teams who take on Armagh this Saturday 28th June at 5 and 7pm. Remember nothing beats being there!!
