Eurotech Junior Football League  –  Emyvale  1-12  Drumhowan 0-6  The Seniors made the trip north to Emyvale  last Sunday the 22nd of April to take on the locals.  In the first half while Drumhowan  had quite a lot of possession  but couldn’t make it count  hitting numerous while on the other hand  Emyvale had no such problems  running in a 7 point lead. Colm Lambe opened Drumhowan’ account  with a free in the 26th minute shortly followed up by another but Emyvale kicked another 2 points  to leave the half time score 09 to 0-2.  COlm Lambe opened the scoring in the 2nd half with another free before the red cards began. Ciaran Deery received his marching orders in what looked a black card offence. A mini skirmish  followed shortly afterwards after which 4 red cards were issued with Niall and Kevin Mooney going on the Emyvale side. Shortly afterwards another Emyvale player was ordered off to leave it 12 a side.  Another free by Colm Lambe  left only 5 in it but with more room  Emyvale went  further heading scoring an unanswered 1-3 before Anthony Mulligan hit 2 points from play in the closing 5 minutes to leave  the full time score Drumhowan 0-6 Emyvale 1-12

Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship Preliminary Round – The As face  Emyvale once again this Sunday 29th  in the championship  with a 12.30pm throw in in Clontibret. All support will be welcomed with a better performance than last Sunday a must.
Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2A  – The Bs take on  Sean Mc Dermotts  on Friday 4th May with a 7.45pm throw in.
Mallon Foods U15 Division 3–  The U15s had a good win over Inniskeen in Páirc Mhic Eoin  on Thursday evening last the 19th of April. After a sluggish first half the team stepped it up after the break to run out winners by four points in the end.  Full time score was Drumhowan 3-8 Inniskeen 1-10  Speedy recovery to Mark Tomany who fractured a finger in the game. Next up is a trip to Corduff for a 6.30pm throw this Thursday 26th April followed by a home match against Doohamlet the following Thursday evening the 3rd of April.
Manor Farm U13 Division  2    Drumhowan 7-9    Clontibret 4-5.  The U12s continued the good run at Juvenile level on Monday nigh the 23rd April with a good win in Clontibret. Early goals set the game in our favour but a spirited Clontibret side kept plugging away to the final whistle. Next up is a home game against table toppers Magheracloone on Saturday May 5th at 2pm.
 
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U11  Spring League  – The U11s  had a hard fought win over a gallant Seans side  0-17 to 0-20 on Wednesday evening last the 18th of April in windy conditions. There was some excellent passages of play by both sides. Next up is a trip to Clones on this Saturday morning 21st April. All players to be in Clones for 11.30am
 
GR 8 U7-9 Go Games –  Both these panels travelled to Corduff on Saturday last for the first Blitz of the season. Quite a number of players made their club debut and enjoyed their day. Again we ask all children to keep practising the basic kicking and catching skills at home. Training continues as per the messages on WhatsApp.
Community Employment Worker – The club currently have a vacancy for a CE worker around the pitches and The Centre. Anyone who is eligible please contact Gerry Finnegan or Seamus Duffy if interested.
OsKaRs Dvd  – We are going to show the Dvd of the films and the night on Friday 4th May commencing at 9pm in the Centre.Everyone is welcome to attend so spread the word please. Refreshments will be served. Also on the night Dvds of the event and the 7 films will be on sale for €10.
Friends of Drumhowan money can be handed in at pitch Friday evening at 8pm
Tractor, Bike and Car Run – takes place this Sunday 29th of April  commencing from Drumhowan Community Centre. Registrations commences from 2.30pm with all vehicles  off at 4pm. Please make sure to register early. Refreshments will be served  on return, For further details please  contact Gerard  on  086 1616434.  The run is in memory of Joey Mooney and all funds raised will go to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund.
 
Circuits  with Ur Fitness – Circuits continue every Tuesday and Thursday in the centre with Ursula at 7.30pm Get summer ready and lets increase the numbers.
Sympathy – is extended to the Mc Bride Family  and the Oram Club on the death  of Big Tom last Tuesday 17th of April. May he rest in peace.
