Senior- Our senior team played away to Killeevan on Sunday last. Drumhowan led well with a half time score of 2-9 to Killeevan’s 1-3. Killeevan came back into the game in the second half but Drumhowan won with a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-8 with great performances by David Millar, Mickey Atkinson,  Barry and Paul Mc Guirk and Aidan Duffy who came on in last 10 minutes and scored 2 points. Scorers were David Millar 1 point, Mickey Atkinson 2 points, Niall Mooney 1-1, Paul Mc Guirk 1 goal, Kieran Mooney 1 point and Kieran Mooney 3 points. They play away to Killanny this Sunday 26th August.

Junior Bs- The game against Corduff has been refixed for this Friday night in Drumhowan.

Geraldines Summer Camp – took place over 3 days last week. The club would like to thank the sponsors Quinn Quality Meats – Gerry and Martin who provided tops for all the 41 children who attended. The club would also like to thank the following who coached Darren Duffy, Philip Mc Adam, Eilish Mc Nally, Megan Finnegan, Josh Sherry, Aidan Quinn, Mark Mc Cabe and Owen Quinn. Minors –  St Pats 2.8  Cuchulain Sarsfields 2-10  – St Pats opened the group stages of the championship with a 2 point defeat last week. Despite been well ahead at half time the team put in a very poor showing in the second half to suffer defeat. They had a must win game against Inniskeen on Tuesday night last and play Tyholland away in the final group game on Tuesday August 28th at 6.45pm.

U-16s– St Pats play Cremartin tonight Thursday 23rd at 7pm in Oram in the League Final. They will be really up against it as Cremartin have already defeated them twice in the league. However the team have been improving of late and best of luck to the players and mentors. Please come out and support

Under 14s – Drumhowan are away to Scotstown on Saturday at noon.

Under 12s – Drumhowan had a good win over Eire Og last week to make the shield final. The first period was a close affair but Drumhowan pulled away after the break. They now play Clontibret on Saturday September 1st in the final.

Under 10s – We are playing in Oram on Saturday in a blitz. All players in Oram for 9.40am

Ages 5-14 – Training continues on Monday evenings at 7pm for ages between 5-14.

U12 Finals – Drumhowan will host 6 U12 finals  on Saturday 1st September. The 1st will start at 11 while the last will finish around 5 so plenty of help will be needed on the day. More details next week
