IFC- The Draw has taken place for the first round of the Intermediate Championship; we will face Currin in our first game.

Awards Night- The dinner and awards night will take place on Sat 9th Feb in Drumhowan Centre, commencing at 8pm, dinner will be served at 8.15pm sharp. Tickets will be available in the coming weeks. Anyone who would like a ticket please contact any club members.

More details are available on the Monaghan Gaa website and anyone interested in doing a course is asked to contact club coaching officer Donal Mc Adam. We are always looking for more help at underage level and would ask more parents to consider becoming involved and do the foundation level course in Mid-February.

Juvenile Registration and Presentation Night- has been put back and will now take place on Sunday evening February 17th. Rumour has it a very special guest will be in attendance. Medals will be presented to winning under 12 and 14 squads from last year. Also our Ulster Scor Instrumental Music Winners will perform on the night.

Mouthguards- Following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 (for all age grades up to and including minor) and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014.

 

St. Macartan’s College Gala Ball- In 2013 St. Macartan’s College are celebrating 100 years of Gaelic Games in the college. To mark this milestone the college is inviting all past pupils to join them at a special Centenary Gala Ball on Saturday February 16th in the Hillgrove Hotel for a reunion of past pupils and teachers for what promises to be a night to be remembered. Within our club there are many past pupils and this is a unique opportunity for them to support their ‘alma mater’. All proceeds will go to the redevelopment of the ‘’bottom pitch’’.
