Upcoming fixtures and results:
Seniors – Next game, at home, is against Oram this Sunday 26 May with a 12.30pm throw in.
Reserves – The reserves played a preliminary Crawley Cup game v Castleblayney last Wednesday 15 May in Páirc Mhic Eoin. In a high scoring game the full time score was Drumhowan 4-15 Castleblayney 2-12. This victory means a home quarter-final v Eire Óg but not till Friday 21 June. In the league the reserves were away to Clones last night (Wednesday 22 May) with the next round away to Eire Óg on Saturday 1st June.
Minors – In a change to the schedule the minors played their final league before the exam break last Tuesday 21 May at home in Drumhowan with the full time score Drumhowan 0-14 Rockcorry 3-16
U16s This Thursday 23 May in the final game before the exam break St Kevin’s take on Rockcorry in Doohamlet with a 7.30pm throw in.
U14s –The U14s had a busy week with playoffs. In the semi final last Friday 17 May they beat Doohamlet away on a 5-24 to 3-14 scoreline. This meant a home final playoff with Rockcorry on Tuesday 21 May who were also beaten on a 7-17 to 7-11 scoreline. This means they now have qualified for the cup competition with an away game to Killanny on Thursday 30 May with a 7.30pm throw-in.
U12s – played Currin in the Spring League Final last Monday 20 May in Cloghan. They now wait to see what division they will play in.

Drumhowan Cubs’ and Academy – Last Saturday the children had a blast playing football under sunny skies. Huge thanks to all coaches and see everyone once again this Saturday at 9.30am

History talk – by our Club referee Patrick Duffy this Thursday (tonight) 23rd May. The talk is entitled The 1828 “invasion of Ulster” and the meeting at Ballintra. Please meet at Ballintra church (Eircode A75 F750) at 7pm to view the site of the meeting, followed by a talk on its background, key events, significance and legacy at Drumhowan Community Centre (Eircode A75 YV81) at 8pm. Refreshments will be served.
