Upcoming fixtures and results:
Seniors – The seniors played out a 1-11 to 0-14 draw away to Currin (with Currin getting the goal) last Friday night the 28 June. This draw means that, even before the final league game v Eire Óg this Saturday 6 July at 7pm in Drumhowan, they have qualified for a league quarter final but a draw or a win would cement it being played at home. The draw for the championship also took place this week. Drumhowan were drawn in group 1. Eire Óg, Aghabog, Seans and Scotstown the opponents with Seans providing the opposition away on the opening weekend 11 August.
Minors – The minors were back after the exam break last Tuesday 2 July with an away game in Smithborough against Na Mullaí Sarsfields. It finished a high scoring draw Drumhowan 3-21 Na Mullaí Sarsfields 5-15. Next Tuesday 9 July they play Oram at home in Drumhowan with an 8pm throw in.
U16s St. Kevin’s will play Aghabog away this Thursday 4th July in the Shield Semi Final with a 7.30pm start.
U12s – The U12s played Ballybay away last Saturday 29 June. Full time score was Ballybay 3-11 Drumhowan 4-8, a draw. Next game is Saturday 13 July at home to Aghabog.
