JFL- We were defeated by Clones on Sunday last with a final score of 3-10 to 2-7. Next game is away to Aghabog on Friday 12th July.
Reserves- We had a win against Sean on Friday evening with a score of 1-10 to 9 points. Next game is at home to Doohamlet this Friday 5th July at 8pm.
U17s- St Pats won by a last minute goal against Scotstown on Sunday last. Final score 4-12 to 5-7.
U15s- Our U15s had a good win against Aughnamullen on Wednesday last. They are away (in Oram) to Clan na nGael this Thursday 4th July at 7.30pm
U13s- The U13s final is provisionally fixed for Saturday 6th July V Seans. See social media outlets for more details.
Féile- What a weekend! The boys and their coaches were given an excellent send off on Friday morning as they hit the road for Glenamaddy. They were given an even better homecoming as they came home Champions on Sunday evening. On day 1 they had 2 great wins over Galway and Kerry clubs. They then went on to play their hosts Glenamaddy on Saturday morning which they won and qualified for the quarter final that evening. After a 6 point win over Arravale in Tipperary, they awaited their semi final on day 3. 4 games in 2 days did not prove to be a challenge for the boys as they won their semi final against Clondegad from Clare. After an extremely intense and nail biting final, the boys won by a single point against an amalgamated team- Shannon Gaels with a final score of 2-5 to 2-4. The celebrations began in Claremorris and continued in McDonalds in Longford and then onto Ballybay Community College where they were greeted by a huge convoy of supporters. They were then met in Drumhowan by Paul Forde who led them in with the bag pipes. Feile 2019 will certainly go down in the history of the club and will long live in player’s, parent’s and supporter’s memories! Congratulations to all involved. Feile Champions 2019!
