Happy New Year – As these are the first Club Notes of 2018 on behalf of the Club I would like to wish all our members, players, volunteers and supporters Athbhliain faoi Mhaise Daoibh.
Friends of Drumhowan Christmas Draw – Before Christmas the annual draw took place. The winners were as follows

Monaghan GAA Yearbook – is still on sale in all good shops. 324 pages full of the year’s events for the amazing price of €10. As well as looking back on the year there are photos of our u12s, u14s and St. Pats U16s Shield winners.
Foundation Courses – The club will require additional help with our Under 6-8 players in 2018. The County Board are running 2 Foundation courses one on the 19th / 20th January and another on 9th /10th February 2018. In order to work with juveniles you must do the course first. So anyone interested in helping out should contact Cormac Duffy on 087-0963941 to book onto these.
Births – Congratulations to Stephen and Liz Mooney on the birth of their baby girl Grace before Christmas. Also well done to Gavin and Elaine Sheridan on the birth of their baby boy Conor.
Scór Quiz – for both Scór na nÓg and Scór Sinsear will take place on January 26th. If interested in taking part please contact Pauline Grogan on 086 070 2129
Visitors at Christmas – Bon Voyage to all those in the locality who were home for the festive period. They travelled from New Zealand, America, England and the four corners of the world. Hope to see you all soon.
