19/4/16

Eurotech JFL Rd 3 Sean Mc Dermotts 0-12 Drumhowan 0-8

Drumhowan’s good start to the season came to an abrupt end when the home side Seáns showed their superior fitness in the second half to run out winners by the four points. It all started so brightly for Drumhowan in the first half with plenty of possession and scoring opportunities. However due to plenty of spurned opportunities and a missed penalty we only went in at half time with a slender 1 point lead with the half time score Drumhowan 0-4 Sean Mc Dermotts 0-3. Drumhowan’s scores came from Niall Mooney, Mark Mc Cabe and David Millar x2. In the second half the Seáns upped their game and Drumhowan couldn’t reply as Seans scored nine second half points  to Drumhowan’s four. This time they came  from Mark Mc Cabe, Kevin Mooney x 2 and Liam Mc Guirk finished it off in the 30th minute. Despite not being a dirty game 6 Drumhowan players received yellow cards with Kieran Mc Elroy receiving his second five minutes from the end.
