Eurotech JFL – commences this Sunday at 5pm when we have a home game  against Killanny. Please note the change of time.

Mc Elvaneys U18 League Div 1  –  The minor have an early start to their League Campaign  next Tuesday 25th March with an away game to defending Minor League and Championship double winners Carrick Emmetts. This game has an early throw in time of 5.45pm. Home games this year for the minors will be in Ballybay.
Gerry’s Fruit and Veg U12 Spring League – Last Saturday the U12s commenced their Spring League Campaign with a good win over Magheracloone. A number of players were starting their first game at U12s. Their next game will be an away one against Doohamlet  on Saturday 29th March at 12 noon.

Gerry’s Fruit and Veg U14 Div 3 – THe U14s get their League Campaign  underway this Saturday at home to Éire Óg at 12 noon.

U16 Presentation – will take place this Saturday 22nd March in the Pearse Bros. Centre

Half Time Game v Louth – Well done to Club Juvenile Players Lee Treanor, Cormac Duffy and Darragh Mc Elearney who played in the half time game at the AFL game v Louth on Sunday 9th March. This was the culmination of a six week after school programme that took place in St Macartan’s before Christmas. Aodhán Brennan also took part but was unavailable to attend on the day.

Under 10/12/14  Training continues on Mondays and Thursday evenings at 7pm on the pitch. Please note there is Under 10 training on tonight Thursday 20th March.

Coaching for  Under 6 and 8 players, where the emphasis is on having fun, will begin on next Monday March 24th at 7pm indoors in Drumhowan Community Centre. New boys and girls always welcome. We would also appreciate if some parents could stay on and offer to help out. All children should wear tracksuits and runners and take a bottle of water with them.

Level One Children’s Award in football scheduled to take place on Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th of March in Cloghan. Farney Academy Easter Camp.
Monaghan Coaching and Games Development will be running their annual 3-Day Easter Camp for both boys & girls between the 22nd and 24th of April in Pearse Park Ballybay between 10am to 2-30pm.Cost of the camp is €40 per child & €35 for additional children from the same family.

The camp caters for boys and girls aged between 5-12 with a wide range of fun games and activities delivered at each camp with Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie being at the core of every activity.You can download a form on the Monaghan GAA website and please return your application form to Paul O’ Connor in Cloghan on or before the Thursday the 17th of April.

Sympathy – to Gene and Pat Shannon and Rosie Duffy on the death of their brother Peter who died last Monday 10th March after a illness. He was buried last Thursday in Ballintra.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
