Upcoming fixtures and results: 
Seniors – Last Friday, 14 June, the seniors took on table toppers Aghabog in Páirc Mhic Eoin. On the night Aghabog were the better side and won on a 1-7 to 1-9 scoreline. Next game is scheduled for Friday, 28 June, away to Currin in Scotshouse.

Reserves – The reserves game last Tuesday v Emyvale was called off.  Next game in the league is next Tuesday, 25 June, away to Killanny with an 8pm throw in. Before that (tomorrow) on Friday, 21 June, in the Crawley Cup Quarter Final Eire Óg are the opposition in Drumhowan also with an 8pm start.

U16s St Kevins are back after the exam break this Thursday, 20 June (tonight), when they make the trip to Currin (note change of venue) to play St. Tiarnachs Patricks with a 7.30pm start.

U12s – The U12s round 2 Division 3 game v Tyholland was postponed to (last night) Wednesday, 19 June.

Help Needed – this Sunday, 23 June, from 10.15am as the Monaghan LGFA Reserve Division 1 League Final between Donaghmoyne and Emyvale takes place.

Thanks to all those who helped out over the past week with the U 14 finals,  3 of which took place in Drumhowan. Well done to Rockcorry, Killanny and Magheracloone who were victorious.

Senior Team Fundraiser – final week to purchase tickets, draw takes place on 30 June. Entry is €10 or 3 for €20. They have some super prizes including a Two night stay in Arklow Bay Hotel plus 1 evening meal, Mace €300 and €200 vouchers, a signed Monaghan jersey and many other local vouchers – see social media for full list. Lines will also be on sale at the cubs’ academy on Saturday morning.

Spraoi Scór – well done to all Primary School students that represented the club last Saturday 15 June in Ardaghey Community Centre. The club was represented in the instrumental group, ballad group and recitation competitions.

Good luck – to all the Monaghan panel this Saturday, 22 June, when they make the away trip to Galway to take on the locals in the preliminary quarter final of the All Ireland.

Congratulations to Niamh Quinn, Drumgarra and Fergal Rafter, Castleblayney who got married last weekend.

Sympathy extended to the Carragher Family, Cremartin, on the sudden death of Ciaran in Perth last Saturday. Cremartin have set up a Go Fund me page to help with the family having to travel to Australia. https://gofund.me/37f07c6d
