Monaghan2Mizen Summer Sunrise– Well done to Noel Duffy who is completing a virtual walk in memory of his late mother Nan Duffy. This week Noel is virtually in Co.Cork. He is raising funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and Drogheda Hospital Acute Stroke Care Unit. All donations would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via the link www.justgiving.com/fundraising/monaghan2mizen or you can contact Noel at 0861931933. To mark the finish Noel is trying to get as many people as possible to dress in red wherever they are in the country and if possible walk the last mile with him virtually on Saturday 20th June at 4.30am or alternatively be up for sunrise at 4.55am and send their photos to Noel. This is a lovely opportunity to remember people who suffered from heart disease or stroke.
