Junior Bs  –  season will be commencing on Sunday 13th  of March with a home game to Doohamlet.  Other teams in the RFL Div 2 this year are Blackhill, Rockcorry, Seán Mc Dermotts and Tyholland.

Seniors – first  game this year will be on Sunday the 20th March with an away game in the home of Ulster Football, Clones.

U14  – This team will compete in Division 3 this season along with Aughnamullen, Clones, Cremartin, Clontibret and Patrick Emmetts.The first game is scheduled for Saturday March 26th at 2pm. This squad will be managed by Anthony Brennan, Barry Tomany and Sean Smith for the season ahead. Training continues each Monday and Thursday night at 7pm and all players are asked to attend all sessions as the panel is very small in numbers this year.

 

U12 –  We have been placed in a Spring League group along with Inniskeen , Magheracloone and Toome. The first game takes place on Saturday March 19th at 2pm. This will very a young side this season with most players Under 11. The management of this team is Donal Mc Adam and Aidan Doherty. Training also takes place on Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm. We have a game against Doohamlet under lights in Drumhowan on next Monday night 7th March and all players are requested to be there by 6.45pm.

U 6/8  These groups will be starting soon on Saturday evenings and then moving to the regular Monday night slot when the time changes. More details next week.

Presentation Night –  The annual Registration and Presentation night takes place on Sunday evening the  13th  of March in the Community Centre at 6-45pm. Medals will be presented to our U12 Division 2 Shield Winners from last year. All parents of all juvenile players are asked to attend and sign up for 2016. New players are very welcome so come along on the evening and enjoy the light refreshments.
Easter Camps – A 3-day camp will take place from Tuesday 29th March to Thursday 31st March in Ballybay from 10am to 2.30 daily. Cost is €40 for one child and €35 for additional children. Seehttp://www.monaghangaa.ie/coaching-development/camps/ for more details.
Croke Park – On Saturday last a group of almost 50 juveniles and parents travelled to the Monaghan v Dublin game. All the children really enjoyed the day out and although disappointed that a Conor Mc Manus inspired Monaghan lost by the minimum margin they  were still very proud of the team. Padraig Pott’s Guide to Walking –   a one man play  from the award winning Séamus O’ Rourke will  take place in Drumhowan Community Centre on Friday 18th of March. Tickets now available from any committee member.
