Annual Presentation and Registration night takes place this Sunday, 18 February at 6pm, with special guest.  Medals will be presented to our winning U17 side from last season. You can also pay your annual Friends of Drumhowan membership of €120 on the night.  Help will be on hand to register you online. There will be an early bird draw for €250 for those who have paid before 18 March. Hot food served and all players, members, parents and supporters are welcome and invited to attend.

Club Draw tickets are available to purchase from committee members and players – €10 each.  Prizes include a brand-new car, €10k cash prize and various GAA ticket packages.  Draw takes place on 27 March.  All monies raised stay in the club which is needed more than ever.

 

Irish Life Steps Challenge and Ireland Lights Up in conjunction with RTE’s Operation Transformation both completed this week. Well done to those who completed the Irish Life Steps Challenge over the past 5 weeks. During the period from 9 January to 12 February, we walked a combined total of 10,157.4km which means our club will be entered into a draw for a €2,500 O’ Neills Sports voucher.  The final night of Ireland Lights Up also took place yesterday evening, 14 February. Well done to all those who participated.  The organising of these were Noel’s last act as the club’s healthy officer. Noel would like to thank everyone who has helped him over the past five years in this role.  If anyone is interested is taking over the role, please reach out to Noel or Seamus. The club would like to thank Noel for his contributions in this role over the years.

Bingo took place last Friday night, thank you to everyone for coming out…we had a great turnout and it was a brilliant event. Thanks also to those who couldn’t be there on the night but supported through our online raffle.

Gaeltacht scholarship If you have secured a place in a Gaeltacht course this summer and are a registered member of the club, then please contact Emmet Mulholland to apply for a Gaeltacht scholarship.  Application forms need to be submitted before 28 February 2024.
