Platinum Tanks Division 2 RFC Crawley Cup- Our Reserve team play round 1 of their championship this Sunday 13th at home to Emyvale at 2pm. Best to luck to all players and management in the championship ahead.
Maguire International Division 2 MFC – St Pats suffered an extremely disappointing defeat to Tyholland in the shield semi final at the weekend. Due to a number of regrettable misses in the last 10 minutes, Tyholland emerged the winners with a final score of 3-10 to 1-15. This was a young team with 7 U15s starting. We wish the best of luck to the players who move on to senior football. Also, a big thank you to managers Barry, Lorcan, Kevin and Tom for their commitment with the team this year.
Manor Farm U15 Division 2 Championship – Our U15s play Clontibret in the Championship Semi Final the weekend after next. Please see next week’s club notes for more details.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U13 Division 3 Championship- There was more heartbreak at the weekend, this time for our U13 team who were defeated by just 2 points in Seans during extra time. Drumhowan put up an extremely tough fight and looked to have the upper hand in extra time however a goal by Seans toward the end sealed the deal for Seans. Final score 5-15 to 5-13. Well done to all players on such a tremendous effort and many thanks to the management team of Brendan, Cormac and Donal for all of their hard work with the team this year.
U11s- Our U11s play Blackhill in a challenge match this Friday 11th Sept in Drumhowan at 7pm.
U7s/9s- Our U7s and U9s training resumes back on Saturday 12th September. Please see Whatsapp groups for details. Also, please ensure to fill in the return to play health form before each training session.
Stewards- Many thanks to all our stewards who have helped out at games over the last number of games. Again, we will need more help this weekend as we host the division 3 minor final between Killanny and Patrick Emmets this Sunday, 13th Sept at 11am. Please be at the Centre at 10am. We also host two U13 finals this Saturday 12th, starting from 11am. Please be at the Centre from 10am.
