Universal Graphics JFC –  Last Friday night the 8th August our Seniors  qualified for the JFC semi final with a good win over the League Leaders  Killanny in Inniskeen. At half time Drumhowan led by 1 – 6 to 0 -5 all their scores coming from play. Kieran Mooney scored 3 points and Michael Atkinson scored the goal while Darren Duffy, Colm Lambe and David Millar chipped in with a point each. KIllanny made a good start to the second half drawing level in the 11th minute  with a Mark Conlon goal. However that was as near as Killanny got as Drumhowan then scored the next 3 points – 2 frees from Colm Lambe and a point from Kevin Mooney. Killanny then got 2 back before another free from Colm Lambe and a final point from Niall Mooney left the score at  full time  Drumhowan 1 – 11 Killanny 1 – 8  We now advance to meet near neighbours Aughnamullen in the semi final this Sunday 17th August at 3pm in Inniskeen. All support for this game will be greatly appreciated. It forms part of a double header with Carrick and Donaghmoyne playing in the Intermediate championship at 1.30pm. Mc Elvaneys Recycling MFL Div 1 –  St. Patricks final game of their campaign was against Killanny on Tuesday 12th August last  at 7.30pm. Please check twitter for a result.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 – The U-16s  took on Monaghan Harps last Thursday  7th August  in the championship at 7.30 away in Monaghan. The full time score was St. Patrick’s 2-9 Monaghan Harps 5 – 8  They play Truagh at home in Drumhowan on Thursday 21st August in their final league game.Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 -They play Clontibret in the final league game this Saturday 16th August.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Div 2A – We had Cootehill as visitors to Drumhowan on Thursday night last for a challenge game. Drumhowan started brightly and led at the end of the first period. However the visitors upped the tempo in the second half and ran out deserving winners. This game was in preparation for our Div 2A Semi Final against Aughnamullen which was due to place on Tuesday 12th in Drumhowan at 7pm. Under 8 –  We have a game aginst Ballybay on Monday evening next 18th August. All players should be in Drumhowan for 6.50pm. We may have both an Under 8 & 10 game against Latton away on Thursday 21st. More details next week.
Sympathy – the club would like to offer sympathy to the family and wife of James Curley, Kilnacran, Braddox on his recent death. Also to Anthony Brennan and the Brennans on the death of Denis Brennan, New York and formerly of Cordevlish, Braddox.
