Duffys All Over- This is a 10 day celebration taking place from Friday 21st June- Sunday 30th June and will include heritage, sports, drama, music and much much more, here is just a taste of what is to come- The launch of the Duffys All Over will take place on Friday 21st June at 9pm in Drumhowan Community Centre, this will iclude music and dance and nominations for our very own Drumhowan all stars. The announcement of our All Stars will take place the following night, Saturday 22nd at 9pm in Drumhowan with dancing to John Glenn and the Wranglers. Duffy Day will take place on Sunday 30th of June where we will see how many Duffys we can get in the one place. Come along and take part in this world record attempt, please note you will need a birth cert or driving license or passport. St Pats – Minors recommence on July 9th with a home game against Cuchulain Sarsfields. The under 16’s are away to Monaghan Harps on Thursday June 20th at 7.30pm.
Under 14 – Drumhowan 7-14 Aghabog 3-12 – Drumhowan won a thrilling very physical championship semi final when coming from seven points down to defeat Aghabog last week. They played Killeevan in the final on Tuesday night gone past. They play away to Tyholland in the league on this Saturday June 15th at noon.
Under 12- Div 1B Emyvale 3-9 Drumhowan 2-9 Drumhowan lost out by a goal in the searing miday sun in Emyvale last weekend in an exciting game. Both teams were on top for various periods but in the end the home team ran out winners. Next game is away to Inniskeen on Tuesday June 18th at 7-30pm.
Under 10s- We had a challenge game on Monday evening last against the Clontibret Community games team made up by players from Clontibret, Doohamlet and Cremartin.Our team performed well against strong opposition and for most of them it was their first time to play a 15 a side game. Best wishes to Clontibret in their upcoming Ulster Semi Final.
Go Games – We host an under 10 blitz on this Saturday morning. All players to be at pitch for 9.40am. If you want to see a good mornings football then McKeown Park is the place to be on Saturday. Helpers needed from 9.30am. Under 8 blitz takes place the following Saturday 22nd also in Drumhowan.
Ages 5-14- Training continues every Monday for ages 5-14 at 7pm. All welcome.
Kellogs Cul Camps- take place in Ballybay July 22nd – 26th , Cost of Camps 1st child 55euro,
2nd child 45euro, 3rd child 40euro each. All Camps cater for 5 to 13 year old
