Drumhowan Cubs’ and Academy – Last Saturday the weekly Cubs and Academy were greeted with a wonderful surprise when current county keeper and all-star, Rory Beggan, came along to meet our rising stars. Rory helped out with the training and drills. He was very impressed with the skillset and excited for the progressive development of our players. He signed autographs and posed for photos with all young and old. None of this would have been possible without Orla Mooney, daughter of a former Drumhowan great, Sean Mooney, who also attended. They kindly sponsored our academy players with kit bags and footballs for all our young players. Sincere thanks to Orla and Sean for their generosity and to Rory for the encouragement and excitement he brought to our small but proud club. Huge thanks to all coaches and lets see everyone once again this Saturday at 9.30am
