U11s play Blackhill in Drumhowan this Saturday morning at 10am for the Dan Markey Cup. This will be the season finale. Please support the boys.
Suicide Awareness and Prevention sessions continue in Drumhowan centre. Wednesday 12th of Oct included a recap of the first session. The next and final session will be on Tuesday, 18th of Oct. Guest speakers will inform the audience of their experiences with suicide, addiction and depression. Date for the Diary Saturday 25th November. We are having a reunion night to celebrate our three winning championship teams of the 90’s. 1991 Junior Championship win and the two Intermediate Championships in ’93 & ’97. Great night guaranteed with dancing to Mickey The Butcher. More details in coming weeks. Bon voyage to Cormac Duffy who heads off to start work with the London GAA next week. He will be a big miss around the club having been a member of our senior & Reserve squads plus a highly respected coach with our Juvenile teams. Cormac was also club coaching officer and is our current Youth officer. He’s leaving big boots to fill. We wish Cormac the best of luck in his new role.
