Eurotech JFL – The Senior Team had a good win last Saturday 7th October at home in Páirc Mhic Eoin when they beat Rockcorry 4-15 to 3-7. The penultimate game on the season is this Saturday 14th October with an away trip to Aghabog and a 5pm throw in.
U10-12 Longford Trip – The U10 and 12s headed off on the bus early last Saturday morning to Killoe over in Longford home club of Aidan Doherty. There was an under 12 game against Killoe where our boys put on a very good all round performance. Our U10 panel took on Sean Connollys near neighbours to Killoe. Again another exciting close fought match was had over three periods with plenty of good skills on display. After the game there was welcome refreshments laid on by the Killoe club who have fantastic facilities and three superb pitches. On the way home everyone stopped off at Mc Donalds in Cavan to finish off a very enjoyable day and bring the curtain down on the 2017 season. Thanks to all the players for all their effort all season and especially to our coaches who work with them. Remember to keep active and practising kicking and catching skills over the winter months.
Well done to Ella Mooney and Katie Mc Adam who were both members of the Aughnamullen girls team that won the U12 Shield final at the weekend.
