Eurotech JFL Cup  –  The Seniors came back down to earth with  a bang when they suffered a heavy defeat away  to Clones last Saturday 29th September. Clones opened strongly but Drumhowan kept in touch and close to half time were only two points down before Clones scored their second goal of the game before Ciaran Duffy kicked the last score of the half to leave the half time score  Clones 2-4 to 0-6. However a disastrous  start to the second half let Clones score 4-5 within 12 minutes  to Drumhowan’s solitary point. Things don’t get any easier this Saturday 6th of October when newly crowned Junior Champions Emyvale  make the visit to Páirc Mhic Eoin. Let’s get out and support the team as they attempt to secure a home semi final place. This will take place on Sunday 14th of October if Emyvale are not the opposition.

Mallon Foods U17 Division 2 League  –  Please check social media for a result of the Championship Final against Clan na Gael that took place last Wednesday 3rd October. They provide the opposition also in the League this Sunday 7th September with an 11am throw in, with Toome the venue.

Juvenile Trip –  The club head to Belfast with our U11,U13 & U15 panels on Saturday October 13th.  A match for both teams is lined up against St. Enda’s  Glengormley in North Belfast and then everyone will attend the European Champions Cup Rugby match in Kingspan Ravenhill on that evening between Ulster and The Leicester Tigers. The bus will be heading off around 10-45am and should be back by 9.30pm.
Croke Park –  Well done to Evan Treanor and Tom Doherty who both played in Croke Park as part of a Monaghan Gaa U12 Blitz. Both boys really enjoyed the experience.
Stewards –  Thanks to everyone who helped out on Sunday last at the U17 final as Mc Keown Park had one of the biggest crowds so far this season in attendance.
Congratulations to Angela Mc Donnell and  Aidan Baker who got married in Our Lady of Knock, Ballintra, on Friday 21st September.
Good luck to the other club in the parish  –  Ballybay  as they attempt to derail  Scotstown’s  4 in a row challenge in the Greenfield Foods 2018 SFC final in Clones with a 3.30pm throw in. The match will also be live on TG4.
