JFC- We kept our winning record in this year’s championship with a narrow win against Scotstown on Saturday last in Clontibret. Drumhowan maintained a lead in the first half, going in at half time with a lead of 3 points. Scotstown fought back in the final quarter of the match to score 4 points to level the scoreboard. Extra time looked likely until Kevin Mooney benefitted from Scotstown’s loss of possession to score the winning point at the end of added time. Final score Drumhowan 0-12, Scotstown 0-11. U17s- Our U17s play Clan na Gael in the Division 1 Championship Quarter final this Tuesday 10th September at 6.15pm in Drumhowan.
U15s- Well done to our U15 team who beat Latton in the Championship quarter final last Thursday evening. We now face Doohamlet in the semi final in Aughnamullen this Thursday 12th September at 6pm. Please come out and show your support to the boys.
U13s- Well done to the U13s on a hard fought win against Seans on Sunday last. Final score 2-11 to 3-6. The final will take place this Saturday 14th September v Rockcorry. Time and venue yet to be confirmed. Please note admission will be €5, proceeds will go towards Monaghan Coaching and Games.
U11s- Our U11s will travel to take part in the Emyvale BC tournament next Sat 21st September.
U7s&9s- Well done to our U7s and U9s who took part in a blitz in Clontibret on Saturday last. Both teams played extremely well. Thanks to Clontibret for the great hospitality, an enjoyable morning was had by all.
