Seniors Hard luck to the senior team and management as the championship ended for them following a semi-final defeat on Saturday against Blackhill. A great achievement to reach the semi-finals. Here’s to 2024!

U17s play their semi-final this Sunday at noon in Drumhowan against Ballybay. Please come and support the team.

Hosting we host the girls U14 Div 2 final between Harps & Inniskeen this Saturday at 11 a.m.  Later, at 4 pm on the same day, we host Doohamlet v Sean’s in the Intermediate Championship relegation play-off.  Usual match day helpers are needed, please. Big thanks to all who helped out last Sunday for the ladies’ junior final.

U13s have finished up for 2023. They had a blitz in Cremartin at the weekend. It was a great day in beautiful weather. Thanks to Cremartin for inviting us and hosting.

U11s have a training match this Thursday and pizza to follow in the hall. There will be a blitz hosted by Sean’s on Oct 21st. Details to be confirmed.  They played Emyvale at the weekend and Tom Mooney received ‘the most skillful player of the match’. Well done, Tom.

Halloween party Drumhowan Community Group are proudly hosting a Halloween party for all ages with everything from spooky faces to spooky spaces. Traditional & local ghost stories will be told by our talented storytellers. You won’t get anything like this anywhere else. Treats include smores and marshmallow hot chocolate for the kids. Weather permitting, we will light large biodegradable lanterns, as a group, and watch the spectacular light up the October sky. Monday, October 30th from 6pm. Lanterns at 7:15pm. See you there.

Sincere condolences to the family & friends of James Mc Quaid, Currin, who tragically passed away last weekend. We extend our sympathies to all members of Currin GAA. May he rest in peace.
