Monaghan Electrical IFL – The seniors took on Toome in Round 8 of the IFL last Friday night the 27th of June.  At half time they were down by 3 with the score Drumhowan 0-8 Toome 0-11. In the 2nd half only 1-3 was scored with 1-2 of it coming in the last 5 minutes to leave  the full time score Toome 1-14 Drumhowan 1-11 Team and scorers:  David Traynor 0-2(2pf), Tiarnan Reilly, Jonathan Lavelle, Cormac Duffy, Gerard Quinn, Daragh Mc Elearney 1-2 (1penalty 1-2p), Killian Mc Adam, Ciaran Duffy 0-1, Patrick Quinn 0-1,  Kevin Mooney 0-1, Liam Mc Guirk, Aiden Quinn 0-3 (3f), Jason Clarke, James Mc Adam 0-1, Jack Treanor,  Subs Used: Ronan Duffy,  Michael Atkinson, Tristan Duffy, Aaron Mc Bennett.   The result now means that a relegation semi-final will take place later in July.  However, before that in the final game of the league the seniors are away to Clones this Saturday evening the 5th of July at 7pm. The result of that game will decide who we play in the semi-final

Mc Elvaney’s Waste & Recycling IFC  – the draw for the Championship was made on Monday night last. Drumhowan will be in group 1.  On the weekend of the 17th of August, they play Carrick at home and the following weekend they are away to Donaghmoyne.  After a week break Doohamlet are the visitors to Drumhowan and then finally on the weekend of the 14th of September the team are away to Toome.

Platinum Tanks Division 2A- Last Tuesday  the 24th of June the Bs were awarded the points against Clones. That means they will play in the same division in 2026.  Only  one game remains in mid-July v Ballybay.

Foxhound Travel MFL Division 2 – The minors suffered a narrow defeat to Carrick in Ballybay last Tuesday 1st July on a 1-11 to 1-14 scoreline.  Next Tuesday 8th July they make the long trip up to Truagh  for an 8pm throw in.

Martin Fox & Sons U12 Division 3 League –  Round 5 will not be till mid July v Killanny.

Academy and Cubs Training – training as normal. Saturday morning at 9.30am Last Saturday there was a smaller crowd as some headed off early to the Monaghan match, but it didn’t take away from a fantastic Saturday session. Huge thanks to our coaches and to Ludimilia Traynor for the delicious fruit the kids enjoyed afterwards!

Rounders – with Naomh Trea having withdrawn from the competition only 1 game remains before the playoffs. That is against Skryne of Meath and at present is scheduled away for Sunday 13th of July.
